Great Black-backed Gull Range Map
The Great Black-backed Gull breeds from Labrador south to Carolinas and also the Great Lakes. It winters south to Florida. The Great Black-backed Gull inhabits coastal beaches, estuaries, lagoons and refuse dumps. It is less commonly found on inland lakes and rivers.
