Dunlin Range Map
The Dunlin breeds from western and northern Alaska east to Hudson Bay. It winters along coasts from southern Alaska and Massachusetts southward. The Dunlin inhabits tundra. During winters it prefers beaches, mudflats, sand flats, and inland lake and river shores.
