The Cordilleran Flycatcher breeds from Alberta south through Nevada and Rocky Mountains to southeastern Arizona, southern New Mexico and western Texas. It winters south of the U.S.-Mexico border. The Cordilleran Flycatcher prefers mountain forests and wooded canyons.
